The Upper Susquehanna Synod (USS) is one of the 65 synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Our mission is to have synod members grow as disciples of Jesus, as they serve together to make Christ known. Our synod in north central Pennsylvania includes 124 congregations in the counties of Mifflin, Juniata, Snyder, Union, Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Lycoming, Clinton, and Tioga.
