The Synod Assembly is the highest legislative authority of this synod.  “The priorities of the assembly are worship, edification, and the legislative business of the synod, conducted with the greatest possible involvement of those entitled to participate.” (USS Constitution S7.11.02)

2013 Synod Assembly

The 2013 Upper Susquehanna Synod Assembly will celebrate the 25th anniversary of our synod’s founding, and twenty-five years of ministry as part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  The assembly will take place on June 14-15, 2013, at Susquehanna University (Selinsgrove, PA).  Registration materials were mailed to congregations in March, 2013.  Register before April 15 for a $10 discount on registration!

A special event, an Outdoor Music Festival, will take place on Friday, June 14, 6:00 PM, on the grounds of the University. The event is open to the public. Click here for more info. The festival will be preceded by a Pig Roast, for those who purchase advance tickets. Click here for more information on ticket purchases for the meal.
