Bishop’s Day for Confirmands

A special event for the synod’s confirmands will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2010, from 2:00- 4:30 p.m. at United Lutheran Church, Rural Sunbury (Wolf’s Crossroads).  This event is open to ALL confirmation students, and will be held in the future every other year.  Pastors are encouraged to attend along with their students and the students’ parents.  Make the most of the car-ride by engaging your youth in faith talk!  Individual invitations to confirmands will NOT be mailed this year, so pastors and catechists, please encourage your confirmands’ participation.  The event includes worship and teaching by Bishop Driesen about what it means to belong to the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church.  To view the flier, click here.
