Looking Ahead to July at Camp Mount Luther

Camp Mount Luther is still accepting registrations for all programs for this summer!  Several exciting programs will be held in July.  On June 30, Super Night Owl Week will begin.  Campers will be able to stay up later each night doing nighttime activities and we’ll have extra elective periods this week.  Don’t forget Family Camp, a great vacation opportunity!!!  This half-week intergenerational program is for families of all shapes and sizes.  You’ll have the vacation of a lifetime if you come to family camp.  Our Adult Bible Study leader this year is Rev. BJ Collins.  We hope you will join us for a great half week starting July 7th.  Campers who aren’t sure they can stay a whole week at camp can come for our Mini-Camps from July 10-12.  Traditional Camps will be held the weeks of July 14 and 21.  The week of July 14 is also “Scooby Doo Week” and the week of July 21 is “Christmas in July” week.  These are great samplers of all that an outdoor ministry has to offer!

This year’s theme at Mount Luther is “Faith Alive,” exploring the five faith practices of Bible study, worship, prayer, hospitality, and service.  A new method of studying the Bible, called “GROW Time” will help campers Gather and Reflect On the Word throughout their day, culminating in an evening worship service.  More information is available by calling the camp office at 570-922-1587 or visiting www.campmountluther.org.
