The summer camping session at Camp Mount Luther will be in full swing in June! This summer’s staff will arrive on June 3rd for their two weeks of training. On June 16th, the first campers for this year will arrive for Senior High X-Teen, a joint program of the camp and the Episcopal Diocese of Central Pennsylvania. The theme this year for X-Teen is “Beyond the Hunger Games.” They will be participating in a ten-day camp experience, culminating in a weekend of service work. On June 24, camp will welcome on-site Day Campers. This program is especially good for those kids who are not sure they want to be away from home overnight. More information on these programs is available by calling the camp office at 570-922-1587 or visiting www.campmountluther.org. There is still time to register for all these and other summer programs!
This year’s theme at Mount Luther is “Faith Alive,” exploring the five faith practices of Bible study, worship, prayer, hospitality, and service. A new method of studying the Bible, called “GROW Time” will help campers Gather and Reflect On the Word throughout their day, culminating in an evening worship service.
