Bishop’s Day for Confirmands and their Parents

A special event for the synod’s confirmands will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 11, 2012, at Sharon Lutheran Church in Selinsgrove (120 South Market St) from 2:00-4:00 p.m.  This event is open to ALL confirmation students, and is held every other year.  Pastors are encouraged to attend along with their students and the students’ parents. The afternoon will include worship and teaching by USS Bishop Robert Driesen about what it means to belong to the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church. It is helpful, but not absolutely necessary to let the synod office know in advance how many will be attending.
