Communications of the Upper Susquehanna Synod help keep members and leaders up-to-date on news of interest within the church.  To share your news with the synod, please contact Chad Hershberger, Director of Communications, at news@uss-elca.org.

  • Currents is a monthly publication of  news, upcoming events, and features of interest, suitable for “cutting and pasting” into congregational newsletters or bulletins.
  • USS Ark is a formatted, monthly newsletter highlighting ministries of USS congregations, organizations, or individuals, suitable for reproduction in congregational newsletters.
  • Headwaters is a formatted, monthly newsletter for rostered and other leaders of the USS.
  • Stream of Information is a formatted, occasional communication piece highlighting a specific topic of interest to members and leaders of the USS.
  • Bishop’s Pastoral Letters are occasional letters from the bishop on a topic of pastoral concern to USS congregations or leaders.
