Dr. Angela Zimmann\, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Wilson College will present on preaching in our divided climate. SUMMARY:Sacred Steps\, A Discernment Event
DESCRIPTION:Feel as though God is calling you into something more? Join us for a day of discernment to discover where God might be leading you to live deeper into the Good News of Christ Jesus for the sake of the church and the world. Sacred Steps\, a discernment event\, will take place on October 11\, 2025\, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Camp Mount Luther. This event is being sponsored by the Upper Susquehanna Synod Candidacy Committee and Lay Ministry Institute. The day will include a keynote from Rev. Martin Otto Zimmann of United Lutheran Seminary as well as discernment activities\, break out time\, and a discernment panel.  The cost is $25 and includes lunch and a book. Pre-register by contacting the Synod Office at (570) 524-9778 by 9/26/25.
