The Rev. Amy Shuck, pastor of First, Watsontown, will be officiating at Old Immanuel Lutheran Church's Annual Memorial Service on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., at 2633 Lime Bluff Road, Muncy. Along with our country's 250th birthday, we will be celebrating 235 years of Old Immanuel, the oldest Lutheran church in Lycoming County! You are most welcome to join us, but please be aware that the church has no electricity or running water, and is not ADA compliant.

Everyone is invited to come to Camp Mount Luther on Sunday, June 14, 2026, for a worship service that will officially kick off the summer camp season. The service will celebrate the outdoor ministry of the UpperSusquehanna Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Rev. James A. Vitale Jr., the camp’s associate director, will preach and preside over worship. Worship will begin at 6:45 p.m.

Bishop Miller invites rostered and lay leaders of the synod to the next Bishop’s Day on June 30, 2026, at Camp Mount Luther. We will gather around 9:00 a.m. and engage in Bible study with DEM SueEllen Spotts at 9:15 a.m. Bishop Miller will provide updates and conversation at 10:30 with worship at 11:30. Following lunch at 12:15, you are free to do what you’d like to renew or join in with Family Camp electives. This is also time to have one-on-one conversations with the bishop.  Bishop’s Days provide synod leaders opportunities to engage with the bishop and enjoy collegiality in rest, renewal, and re-creation. All ELCA deacons, pastors and bishops are invited to the Rostered Ministers Gathering, July 6-9, 2026, in Indianapolis, Ind., for a time of intentional connection when they can renew their strength, enjoy camaraderie with colleagues and reflect on the Holy Spirit’s work among us. Attendees will gather under the theme “Woven Together,” and each day, discussion will center on a thread of that theme: “Woven Together With God,” “Woven Together for Creation,” “Woven Together as Community” and “Rostered Ministers Woven Together.” Mark your calendar today and watch for more information in coming weeks.
