Synod Youth Elect Officers & Set Dates

At a recent meeting of the synod youth team, officers were elected for this school year. They include: Chair Gabe Schaeffer; Vice Chair & Publicity Coordinator Claire Hershberger; Secretary Evelyn Weiser; Treasurer Tavin Reitz; Congregation Outreach & Event Coordinator Ellie Schaeffer.

They also confirmed dates for events from now until May:

• October 20, 2024: Mystery Night at St. Matthew’s, Shamokin Dam (2-5 p.m)
• November 17, 2024: Ping Pong Tournament at Sharon, Selinsgrove (3-5 p.m.
• December 15, 2024: Advent Hike (2-4 p.m.) and Christmas Party (4-6 p.m.) at CML
• January 3-5, 2025- Winterfest in Lancaster
• January 19, 2025- Roller Skating
• February 16, 2025- Bowling
• March 28-30, 2025- GROW Retreat
• April 27, 2025- Service Project
• May 31, 2025- School Year-End Celebration at CML
