  • Preaching the Paradox

    August 9, 2026 - August 13, 2026
United Lutheran Seminary, Gettysburg PA campus, 61 Seminary Ridge, Gettysburg, PA 17325, USA

Preaching matters. We are a people plagued by exhaustion, polarization, uncertainty, and spiritual hunger; the proclamation of the Gospel remains one of the church’s most vital callings. Faithful preaching has the power to comfort the afflicted, challenge complacency, inspire hope, and help communities discern God’s movement in the world.

This event brings together preachers, teachers, church leaders, and learners from across Lutheran academia for a rich experience of worship, theological reflection, practical insight, and renewal for the work of proclamation.

Participants will encounter gifted preachers, thoughtful presentations, meaningful worship, and conversations that engage both the challenges and possibilities facing the church today. Seminary Ridge is a space for encouragement, imagination, and renewal in community.

Please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues, congregational leaders, seminarians, and others who may benefit from this remarkable event.
