Voting members to the Synod Assembly are expected to attend their own Conference Assembly, held prior to the synod assembly. Conference Assemblies review and discuss any memorials/resolutions being proposed to the synod assembly, elect conference leaders, nominate conference members to the ballot for synodical elections, and conduct other business as needed by the conference.
