For many years, the citizens of Judah lived in fear…

Update on Synod YAGM
Hannah Haussmann, a member of St. Mark’s, Williamsport (second from right) is an ELCA Young Adult in Global Mission in Cambodia. She was oriented in Chicago before departing for Asia. One of her first weeks she contracted amoebic dysentery. She is now in her placement, doing service work on behalf of the church.
Hannah says this experience is all about community.
“Over the next year, I will have the opportunity to become part of a new community in Cambodia and learn from the people who welcome me there. At the same time, I know I am not making this journey alone. I am incredibly grateful for the community of family, friends, congregations, coworkers, and supporters who are accompanying me on this journey as well,” Haussmann said.
