Up and Down the Valleys: April 2025

A community Easter Egg Hunt was held in Millmont for children ages 0 to 12 on Saturday, April 12. It was sponsored by the churches of the Buffalo Valley Lutheran Parish, Christ’s United, Millmont, and First, Mifflinburg (Pastor Curt Wingert).

The Annual Chrism Mass was held during Holy Week at St. Matthew, Shamokin Dam (Pastor Mindy Bartholemew). The service included confession and absolution, eucharist, and renewal of baptismal and ordination vows.

Director for Evangelical Mission Sue Ellen Spotts lead the Southern Clinton County Lutheran Parish in a Sustainability Summit. Members from St. Paul, Loganton; St. Paul, Mill Hall; St. John, Booneville; Salona; and United, Lock Haven gathered to explore what it means to be sustainable ministries as congregations and parish.
