Get Ready for Sunday

One of the goals of the Go Tell It IN the Mountains Initiative is to have congregation members “respond to compelling preaching…by integrating the gospel message into their attitudes, actions and ministries in daily life.” GTIIM is releasing daily one-minute videos to help worshippers “get ready for Sunday.” One-minute videos on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday which contain reflections by our tri-synod clergy of the upcoming Sunday’s texts. The Sunday video is simply a reading of the texts (Old Testament and Gospel Lesson). The Monday video is a reflection by the clergy as to potential responses to the Sunday text (a “now what” do we do or how might we respond to the text). A new series of videos begins each Tuesday. Clergy from the Allegheny, Northwest Pa and Susquehanna Synods create vertical style videos on their cell phones focusing on texts for a Sunday of their choosing.
