It was a wonderful, jam-packed youth Winterfest in early January. Nine from our synod spent time together in large and small groups discussing this year’s theme, Better Together. They worshipped together with 250 others and hung out as a community. They also packed 30,000 meals for people facing starvation.

Christ’s United, Millmont (Pastor Curt Wingert), held an indoor yard sale in early February for two days. They had clothing, glassware, refreshments, and quarts of soup for sale.

For 36 years, Messiah, South Williamsport (Interim Pastor Jeff LeCrone) has shared Christmas joy through its White Gifts Ministry. This year, the congregation provided gifts for 44 children in 18 families, food baskets for 25 families, and diapers and supplies for two families with newborns.

The 2026 Upper Susquehanna Synod Assembly will meet June 6, at Camp Mount Luther, under the theme, “Strength for Today, Bright Hope for Tomorrow.” The Assembly Planning Team is planning for a time of worship and education around the business meeting of our assembly. Registration will open March 4, 2026. Cost is $90 before April 15, $100 after that. Visitors cost $30. Meals & housing are billed separately.

The latest Bishop’s Day was on February 4. Bishop Miller presented information on his trip to the Holy Lands.
