The synod has a purchase of services agreement with our outdoor ministry, Camp Mount Luther. Through this agreement, the camp takes charge of the synod youth initiative. That initiative unites adult mentors with youth leadership to provide planning and implementation of a monthly youth event during the school year. The adult mentors are also available for consulting with congregations on their youth ministry.
Pastor Jim Vitale, Chad Hershberger, and Charlene Rineer, staff at Camp Mount Luther, are the principals and adult mentors for this program.
